Never a dull memont in Forensics class! Students reinforced what they have been learning about arson by building houses, creating a narrative for the degree of arson committed, then burning down the houses! Students chose both 1st and 2nd degree arson and inspected the scenes for a “V” pattern to guess the point of origin, while thinking about the factors that lead to faster burning (low humidity/weather, wind, fuel, accelerant used, etc).
