Summer session students are busy planting food for harvesting in the gardens they maintain, including strawberries, potatoes, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and cucumbers.
Stewardship classes at Oliverian promote and encourage students to explore their interdependent relationship with others and with the natural world around them. This learning extends into Culinary Arts classes in our professional kitchen, where students learn to cook and prepare food. These classes empower our students to balance their individual needs with those of their community, helping to guide our students to an understanding of a deeper purpose in life and to the cultivation of a productive school culture.
