Something I found with the Oli faculty is we’ve all had some kind of struggle on our own; whether it’s a personal thing, something that happened within our families, different levels of trauma or a traumatic experience – we’ve all gone through it. And I think just the ability to naturally put ourselves into these students’ shoes is what allows us to just say, “Hey, it’s okay. We know what it’s like, we’ve been there.”
