Tanya Moulton, Oliverian School’s Systems Manager and Registrar, realized her love of working with kids when she began her career as a residential counselor nearly 10 years ago. Tanya spent the last 9+ years wearing many hats at Mountain Valley Treatment Center, a short-term, residential facility for adolescents with anxiety and OCD. Tanya first was a residential counselor and most recently served as their admissions and human resources coordinator.
Tanya’s position at Oliverian offers her the opportunity to be involved in several aspects of campus life and day to day operations including admissions, student life and the leadership team.
In her spare time, Tanya enjoys the beach, as often as possible, traveling to new destinations, hiking, kayaking and spending time with her family and friends.
What do you love most about working at Oliverian?
The personal connections made with both faculty and students just feels like family. Even in my first few days, I quickly felt like I belonged.
What motivates you to work with young people?
Getting the privilege to witness kiddos blossom through all of life’s trials is a beautiful thing. Getting to experience it with them is even better!
