The Oli Family is finally back together, and it is great to see our campus come back to life! The first two weeks were carefully crafted to create a bubble for our special community. Teachers commenced classes across all subject areas to build the core skill sets every student needs. I watched students interact with our science teachers learning the foundations of scientific methodology through hands on experiments (including building catapults!). Pillar teachers worked with student life staff to cultivate positive school culture. We tie-dyed masks, used campus trails to build orienteering skills, and navigated via canoe! After-school and evening programming included campfires and outdoor movies (what better way to end your day than watching a scary movie, outside, in the dark with your friends?!!). Thank you to all the students and faculty who pulled together during this difficult time. But after all, this is what family is all about. And our Oli Family is a great one at that!
