Marina is currently the founding director of ‘The Beautiful Stuff Project’, a non-profit that increases access to play and the arts through reuse. Marina is also adjunct faculty in Early Childhood Education at Lesley University and Bunker Hill Community College. Previously, Marina was a public school classroom teacher, reading specialist, and curriculum developer for the Cambridge Massachusetts Public School System.

Marina holds a BA from Tufts University and a MAT from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In addition, she has post graduate certificates in Trauma Studies from the Justice Resource Institute and Non-Profit Management from Institute of Non Profit Practice at the Tisch Center, Tufts University. Marina is the proud mom of one son – an Oliverian graduate – and a foster son who just completed high school in Richmond Virginia. Marina’s home in Cambridge, MA is filled with both her mosaic art and her son’s wood and metal sculpture. Marina also spends a great deal of time at the beach in Provincetown, MA.
